​​​​​​​For your convenience, the Town offers a number of payment options for property taxes.

​​epostTM:​The Town of Newmarket has partnered with epost, Canada Post's free online mail delivery service to make it easier for you to view, pay and store your property tax bill for up to seven years. Sign up at epost.ca
Post-dated cheques:​Cheques (payable to: THE TOWN OF NEWMARKET) can be delivered in person or in the after-hours drop box at Town Hall which will be collected on the next business day. They may also be dropped off at the Ray Twinney Complex or the Magna Centre
Internet, phone or ATM banking:​Contact your financial institution. Payments are processed within 3-5 business days.
Credit Card (On-line Only):​To pay your property taxes using your existing MasterCard, Visa or American Express, visit the Plastiq website​ shown below. The fee to use this service for tax payments is 1.99 % of the amount paid and is independent of the Town of Newmarket. Payments are usually processed within 3-5 business days.

Mail:​ The Town of Newmarket has been made aware of a potential postal service interruption. Residents are asked to please not mail their payments but instead use one of the other listed options.
In Person:​Pay in person with a cheque, debit card or cash at the Customer Service Centre at the Town of Newmarket Municipal Offices located at: 395 Mulock Drive, Newmarket, Ontario L3Y 4X7. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (monthly Council meetings, we are open until 8:00 p.m.) The Ray Twinney Complex kiosk or the Magna Centre kiosk can also accept your payment.

Please note all unpaid taxes will be charged interest at a rate of 1.25% per month. This charge will be added on the first day of each calendar month in which the default continues.
