What the CUSP? Naming Contest

The Building Canada Fund grant has given the Town the rare opportunity to transform a large downtown urban space into one that would be enjoyed by the whole community. It is the Town's vision that the new urban park would become a community landmark, linking Newmarket's trail system and the downtown core.

Now, we need your help in submitting an iconic name for this unique new community urban space.

What the CUSP? (naming contest)

PRIZE:  Newmarket Mega Pass (swim, skate, track and gym) AND
a $500 Main St. gift certificate!

WHO:   Contest open to all Newmarket residents and business owners

WHEN:  Deadline is July 31, 2011

Contest Instructions:

1. Review the new space's artistic renderings, design elements and main features.
2. Invent a creative name* for the space (3 words max.) and in 50 words or less explain how your suggested name is relevant to Newmarket's new downtown   urban space.
   *Hint: Your suggested name can be a play on words reflecting the space's design elements and features.
3. Submit your name and explanation.
