2006 Official Plan
The new Town of Newmarket Official Plan was adopted by Town Council on October 10, 2006. The Region of York have modified and approved the Official Plan which is now in it's appeal period. You can download a pdf of the consolidated Official Plan and associated schedules, as approved by York Region, below.
On May 28, 2008 the Town of Newmarket 2006 Official Plan came into force, save and except for the land use designation on Schedule A and the environmental designation on Schedule B that are subject to appeal by the land owners of Part Lots 2 and 3 on Registered Plan 49 as detailed on schedule A and Schedule B.
