The Town of Newmarket's Customer Service Centre is an award winning centralized servicing department that provides a variety of front line services to customers through various channels including:  telephone, email, self serve from our web site, in person and by mail. Customer issues are handled by a team of customer service associates who either provide the information to the customer or create a service request that is directed to the appropriate department for handling. 

 Customer activities that are handled in the CSC include the following:

  Inquiries and payment processing related to tax payments including arrears and supplementary billing;

  Parking ticket payments;

  Answer online inquiries, questions or complaints;

  Recreation program registration and payments;

  Inquiries related to recreation and cultural events;

  Inquiries related to various services provided by staff in the Public Works department including: grass cutting, snow removal, waste management, etc.

 General inquiries and issue resolution related to bylaw infractions, parking issues, permits, etc.

 Issuance of marriage licenses, pet tags, garbage tags

 Sale of blue boxes, green bins and kitchen catchers

 Curb Cut and/or driveway widening

  Report Graffiti and Vandalism Online  

 Service Disruptions due to Construction/ Maintenance Projects.


After Hours callers are provided the option of leaving a "non urgent" message in the voice mail box at the CSC which is handled the next business day.  More urgent calls are directed to an after hours call centre who have access to information including emergency contact information in order to provide information or handle issues that require our immediate attention.
