Change your clock, change your battery

Central York Fire ServicesMost fatal fires occur at night when people are asleep. Often, victims never wake up. A working smoke alarm will detect smoke and sound an alarm to alert you, giving you and your family precious time to escape. In order to keep your detectors in proper working condition you should change the battery and gently vacuum out your detector at least once every six months. It is a good idea to do this in the spring and the fall when you change your clock.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Central York Fire Services at 905 895-9222.
