Fireworks

Bylaw 1989-98

No person shall sell firecrackers or set off any firecrackers within the corporate limits of the Town of Newmarket.

No person shall sell any fireworks to anyone under the age of eighteen (18) years in the Town of Newmarket.

No person shall set off any fireworks on any part of a public highway in the Town of Newmarket.

No person shall set off any fireworks within the Town of Newmarket except on Victoria Day or Canada Day or on the day immediately preceding or on the day immediately after Victoria Day or Canada Day unless a permit has been issued by the Fire Chief or Fire Prevention Officer to do so.
