The Legal Department provides a full range of legal services to Council, Town Departments, related boards and agencies in a timely and cost effective manner. The department provides legal representation related to the Town's business and operations, represents the Town's interests at court and administrative tribunals, negotiates real estate transactions, prepares and reviews bylaws and contracts and acts as liaison with the public in their dealings with the Town.
