Lucky Lucy Ladybug poem
Lucky Lucy Ladybug
Lucky Lucy Ladybug
Loved to roam and fly
Sitting in her garden bed
Watching pests crawl by
But these pests were far from ordinary
Not ladybugs, nor ants
The pests were clearly aphids
Putting holes in all the plants
So Lucky Lucy Ladybug
Did what she could do best
Ridding her green garden
Of those pesky aphid pests
Then Lucky Lucy ladybug
Was a hero to one and all
Keeping plant life beautiful
Through summer, spring and fall
So gardeners here in Newmarket
Need not buy any spray
Because Lucky Lucy Ladybug
Is here to save the day.
