Newmarket Downtown Development Subcommittee

The Newmarket Downtown Development Subcommittee (NDDS) works to revitalize and sustain the Downtown community by promoting design, improvements and re-development that respects our environment and heritage through stimulating partnerships using municipal and other public/private incentives.

The objectives of the NDDS are to undertake the economic development, growth and revitalization of Newmarket’s Historic Downtown as defined in the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and to improve the economic and social well being of the community as a whole.

The NDDS has created a plan that is designed to stimulate redevelopment and improvements in the Community Improvement Plan area to maintain a healthy, vibrant and prosperous core for Newmarket.
