The harsh reality of homelessness has struck a personal chord with Leah Denbok. Leah, who is now 18, has been travelling to cities throughout the world with her father in the past 3 years to photograph and interview people experiencing homelessness. She draws her inspiration from her own mother who was rescued from the streets of Kolkata, India by Saint Teresa at age 3.
This thought-provoking exhibition is a result of the dedication and actions taken by one individual who believes that we can do more for the 235,000 Canadians who experience homelessness during the course of a year.
