Newmarket Riverwalk Commons is located outside the
Newmarket Community Centre & Lions Hall at 200 Doug Duncan Drive.
Newmarket Riverwalk Commons features an outdoor stage and is host to various Newmarket events all year long. Some notable events include Music in the Park, Moonlight Movies, Kanata Summer Festival, Garlic is Great Festival, Winter Wonderland, the Newmarket Ice Lounge and more.
Tim Hortons Skating and Water Feature
The Newmarket Riverwalk Commons also features the Tim Hortons Skating at the Water Feature. The water feature acts as a public water feature during the summer months and a skating rink during the winter months.
Summer Hours of Operation during COVID-19
Monday to Sunday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Outdoor public bathrooms are open to the public during the water feature's hours of operation. If the water feature is busy, please consider returning at a later time to ensure physical distancing can be maintained at all times.
Winter Hours of Operation: Closed for the season
Monday to Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. for pleasure skating (weather permitting)
Monday to Sunday: 10 p.m. to Midnight for hockey (weather permitting)
