The Town of Newmarket has received applications to redevelop the lands formerly occupied by the western half of the former Glenway golf course. The submission consist of applications for Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment, and a Plan of Subdivision. THe application consists of 10 single detached dwellings, 87 single detached dwellings on private roads, and 96 townhouse units on private roads.

The application has been deemed complete under the Planning Act. Required notice has been sent to surrounding residents by mail and signs are being erected on the properties. The submitted documents are now circulated for review by the Town and its development review partners.
