The much loved Santa Claus Parade will have a different format this year. Join us for an
evening walk-thru event on Cane Parkway. Themed floats, musicians, buskers, and of course Santa himself, will be stationed along Cane Parkway so bring the family and enjoy a winter walk past all of the displays to get you into the holiday spirit.
Floats and entertainment will be parked in the south-bound lanes on Cane Parkway and attendees will be able to walk in the north bound lanes which will provide lots of room to phyiscal distance.
Please remember to bring non-perishable food items or a monetary donation for the Newmarket Food Pantry.
We will also be collecting letters to Santa that will be mailed to the North Pole.

The event is easily accessible by the Tom Taylor Trail from all of the following locations. We anticipate a high volume of participants, so please be patient and cautious when parking.

- Fairy Lake Park
- Riverwalk Commons Parking Lots
- 395 Mulock Drive (Town Offices)(accessible parking available with access to the event from the Tom Taylor Trail)
- Gorman Pool Parking Lot (424 D'Arcy St)
- On surrounding streets where parking is permitted.
Road Closure
Please note, Cane Parkway between William Roe Blvd. and Roywood Cres. will be closed for this event on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 12 p.m. (noon) to 11 p.m.
Note: there will not be food vendors onsite, please bring your own snacks & drinks. Washrooms are available along the Candy Cane Lane route.
