Seniors to Seniors Videos

As we all know, this June, graduating high school, university, and college students are not able to celebrate their achievement as they normally would. Part of that celebration is setting the stage for the next chapter of their life, whatever that may be.

With that in mind, I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in sending me a 10-30 second video of yourself delivering a message to this year's graduating classes - perhaps some words of wisdom, a lesson learned, or just an inspirational "go for it" message. If you have anything you'd like to say to this years class, I am happy to receive it by Friday June 5th. That will give our marketing team time to splice it all together and create a final video we will share with the community. That will give our marketing team time to splice it all together and create a final video we will share with the community. If you do a video, please shoot it in a landscape format, and then email it to me. Assuming we receive enough content by June 5th, the project will go ahead and a great message will be available. Feel free to share this email with non-member friends. The more, the merrier.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Jason

A Dandelion Poem

A field of yellow on the green

I think it makes a lovely scene

If not stopped, they sprout and grow

I think it makes a lovely show

So full and lush, all you could need.

A shame to think they call you a weed.

A Dandelion Wish

First I make a wish , then I blow real hard

And the little dandelions flow all over the yard

I wait and hope for my little wish to come true

But I guess there's only so much that a dandelion can do

COVID-19 Art Contest

While we are all isolated, I bet many artists are creating a number of wonderful pieces. As many of you know, we have a Wall Art Display Program at the NSMP, and when we do get back into the centre, I'd like to invite artists to help create a special exhibition, which features works of art inspired by the COVID19 pandemic. With that in mind, if you are interested, please plan to participate. Please email me pictures of completed works, which I will include in future bulletins.
