Kelly Broome is more than just your Councillor of Ward 6 Newmarket; she is an active participant who is dedicated to improving the lives of those in Ward 6. Kelly embodies her motto that community, charity and public service is something we all should contribute to. Kelly reaches into the lives of the community, promoting events, and donating her time and talent to multiple organizations and charities. Currently, she holds Vice Chair Board position for The Women's Centre of York Region, has also been on the Board for the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, is the Community Engagement Coordinator of Clearmeadow School Council, recently joined both the Newmarket Public Library Board and Smart Commute Central York.
Kelly believes when people enjoy and believe in what they do, it comes through in a positive way every single day. It is no surprise that you will find her hard at work supporting many local charities. Although Kelly is personally rewarded by the work that she does, her involvement in the community serves another purpose: enriching the quality of life for fellow Newmarket residents.
