  • Embrace individuality, culture, and movement with the Town of Newmarket this June

    Created: Tuesday, May 30, 2023

The Town of Newmarket recognizes June is a month to embrace individuality, celebrate culture, and encourage movement. The Town has many activities and in-person events to honour unique Indigenous histories, recognize the contributions of seniors and help build a community that is inclusive and accessible.

“There is a lot to recognize and learn during the month of June,” says Mayor John Taylor. “This month serves as a chance to embrace the diversity in Newmarket and to continue paving the way for a community where everyone feels seen, heard and empowered. I hope you take the opportunity to celebrate with the Town this month.”

Join in and celebrate many of the daily, weekly and monthly recognitions that June offers:
