Flags at Town of Newmarket facilities have been lowered to half-mast to honour the life of York Regional Police Staff Sergeant Craig Heatley, who tragically passed away this weekend in an off-duty motorcycle accident. Staff Sgt. Heatley was a well-respected 31-year YRP veteran, who worked in Criminal Investigations, Academics, Auto Recovery and most recently in #4 District Uniform Patrol.

Flags will remain at half mast until the date of the funeral.
