    Notice of Disposition of certain Municipal Land (Davis Drive & Patterson Street - Ward 3)

    Notice is hereby given that the Town of Newmarket will dispose of land that was declared surplus by Council on May 27, 2019.

     The land is located just north of Davis Drive and East of Patterson Street being  the southerly 21 metre strip of land of the property municipally known as 35 Patterson Street as identified on the map below.

    The land is legally described as Part of Block A, Plan M-1495 designated as Parts 4, 5, 6 on 65R-38682, Newmarket in the Regional Municipality of York S/T Instrument No. LB370277 (EG19760). 

    The land is being sold to Briarwood (NWMKT) Inc. under an agreement of purchase and sale that was fully executed on October 10, 2019 between the Corporation of the Town and Newmarket Briarwood (NWMKT) Inc., and will be consolidated with the  adjacent  lands to the south at 693 Davis Drive and 713 Davis Drive to accommodate a proposed redevelopment of the consolidated lands.
