Flags at all Town of Newmarket and Central York Fire Services' facilities are flying at half-mast to honour the life of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer Constable Grzegorz 'Greg' Pierzchala, who passed away in line of duty this past Tuesday.

The Town of Newmarket offers our deepest condolences and sympathies to Constable Pierzchala's family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.

Flags will remain at half-mast until the date of the funeral, which has not been announced at this time.
