Get involved and participate in a Public Consultation Centre (PCC) for the Lorne Avenue Reconstruction Project.
Date: Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall (200 Doug Duncan Drive) in Hall 2.
The work includes the replacement of the watermain and water services, sanitary sewers and services to the property line, possible replacement of storm sewers and catch basins, road narrowing, new Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) compliant sidewalks and road resurfacing. The purpose of the PCC is to discuss the project with residents and solicit any feedback or concerns there may be before we start designing the project. A Public Information Centre for this project will be schedule for a later date this year, which will feature drawings of the project based on feedback gathered from this PCC.
The itinerary for the PCC is:
- 5:30 p.m. – Opening
- 6:00 p.m. – Presentation
- 6:30 p.m. – Questions and answers
- 7:30 p.m. – Adjournment
