    Open house

     

    Concerning an application to construct

    A new child care facility at 605 Fernbank rd. 
    (Stickwood Walker Farm), town of Newmarket

     

    You are invited to attend a Public Information Centre in an open house/drop in format on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. in the Newmarket Sports Hall of Fame area on the lower level of the Magna Centre, 800 Mulock Drive, Town of Newmarket to view and discuss the proposed development.

     

    The proposed Child Care Facility will have a gross floor area of approximately 531m2 and will add 8 spaces to the public parking lot.  As shown on the proposed Site Plan on the reverse side of this page, the facilities will be constructed on lands owned by the Town of Newmarket. Submitted plans and documents are available here.

     

    The development has been approved through a Zoning By-law amendment and lease of Town-owned lands. Prior to finalization of the plans, Council has requested that the applicant present the plans to the neighbourhood residents. The purposes of this Public Information Centre is to share the proposed design and solicit the feedback of residents on the design.

     

    Project drawings will be on display and representatives from Denison Child Care, their design team, and Town officials and staff will be available to answer questions and provide information.
