The Town of Newmarket is creating Town-wide Urban Design Guidelines and we want to hear from you. The Town currently has site-specific urban design policies and guidelines prepared for different forms of developments and areas of the Town. The purpose of this project is to create a practical and flexible tool that promotes high-quality design in new development and redevelopment, which reinforces a healthy, vibrant and complete community. The Town-wide Urban Design Guidelines will address a range of building typology and scale (low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise). Guidelines for Privately Owned Public Spaces (POPS) will also be created to provide context-sensitive design standards within the Yonge & Davis Urban Centres.
When: Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Presentation starts at 7:30 p.m.)
