The Town is working closely with York Region Health to monitor for cases of COVID-19 (formerly known as the novel coronavirus) in Newmarket. York Region Health is also collaborating with local hospitals, emergency services and other health agencies to ensure prompt reporting and follow up of all individuals who may require testing for COVID-19.

COVID-19 vaccine distribution is being managed by York Region Public Health in Newmarket. The Town of Newmarket cannot book appointments for COVID-19 vaccines.
