Newmarket responds to the Province’s new tiered reopening plan
On November 3, the Province of Ontario introduced an updated tiered reopening plan that will allow York Region, including Newmarket, to reopen some of its amenities. As the Town continues to take a cautious approach to reopening, the Fitness Centre at the Magna Centre (800 Mulock Drive) will reopen on Monday, November 9 with strict health and safety measures in place. Group fitness classes remain on hold until further notice.
The Town reminds residents to review and follow the safety measures in place for each open amenity. Remember to wear a mask or face covering when inside the facility, practice physical distancing, wash hands frequently and most importantly, stay home if you're experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. All patrons visiting a Town facility will be subject to a health screening process.
