Council Workshop: Development and the Environment on March 9 at 1 p.m.

​The Town is hosting an educational workshop about development and the environment in Newmarket. Tune into this Council Workshop on Tuesday, March 9 at 1 p.m. and streamed live at newmarket.ca/meetings. The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority will also be presenting at this meeting. 

This workshop will inform Council about the natural heritage features around Newmarket, what they are, how they work, and how they are considered when reviewing development applications.

 Natural heritage features in Newmarket include wetlands, woodlands, meadows, valleylands, and more.
