The ‘Choose Local’ campaign is crafted with small businesses at heart. With the goal of helping our community love and support local businesses.
We encourage residents and visitors to support Newmarket's local businesses, services and makers by shopping, dining and spending close to home.
Originally launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign continues to strengthen the local economy by promoting community pride, supporting small businesses and celebrating the unique shops, restaurants and services that make Newmarket thrive.
Through special promotions, events, incentives and partnerships, Choose Local inspires people to discover all that Newmarket has to offer while helping keep dollars circulating within the community, supporting local jobs and contributing to a vibrant, resilient local economy.
