Join us for a proactive, non-partisan community forum designed to move the conversation from uncertainty to action. This evening features a Keynote Briefing from the York Regional Police on current regional safety data, followed by an expert resource panel including Crime Stoppers, Victim Services of York Region, York Region Centre for Community Safety, Inn from the Cold, and other community partners.
The session focuses on the Math of Safety, York Region’s 1,600 officers cannot keep 1.25 million residents safe without the community's active support. By replacing fear with facts, we explore how education, awareness, and prevention can effectively bolster the frontline work of our officers. Our goal is to provide a neutral platform for all residents to engage directly with civic safety professionals.
