York Region is completing micro resurfacing work on Prospect Street, from Gorham Street to Davis Drive, in the Town of Newmarket.
Preliminary work will begin on July 13, and the project is tentatively scheduled to be completed by July 16, weather permitting.
Beginning July 13 to 16, 2026, night work will occur:
- Monday to Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Traffic Impacts
The road will remain open to through traffic during construction. Lane reductions will be required, access to the hospital, homes and businesses will be maintained.
Parking Impacts
No Parking on Prospect Street July 13, 6 a.m. to July 16, 6 a.m. Vehicles will be towed. Alternate parking is available in the surrounding area including at the Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall.
