The Town of Newmarket is proud to officially open Mulock Park to the public after a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 18, 2026. The opening of Mulock Park marks a significant milestone for the community and completes its vision to create an iconic gathering space where recreation, culture and heritage come together.
“Creating and building this park has been an incredible journey from start to finish, and I am so proud of our community, Council and staff for coming together to create a shared vision for this iconic destination,” says Mayor John Taylor. “I believe this park will set a new standard in the GTA for community building and will serve the residents of Newmarket for generations to come. This park represents a deep and meaningful investment in our community and in our future. I can’t wait to see the park filled with our residents, families and children enjoying their new park.”
