The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, in partnership with the Town of Newmarket, are planning to complete creek restoration work along Western Creek at Haskett Park (145 Millard Avenue).
The first phase will be taking place on November 10 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work will remain on Town property, with no impact to residential properties or park access. A portion of the parking lot will be unavailable for use on November 10. Residents, especially children, are asked to stay clear of the work area.
