Join us to usher in another term of Council. On Monday, November 16 at 7 p.m. the Inaugural Council meeting will mark the start of the 2026-2030 term.
For this special occasion, Members of Council will be joined by friends and family for a ceremonial meeting at Old Town Hall (460 Botsford Street), including remarks from members of Council, signing the Oath of Office and the Mayor’s Inaugural speech.
Everyone is welcome to tune into the meeting and stream it live from home at Newmarket.ca/meetings.
Limited seating is also available in Cynthia’s Backstage Gallery on the second floor at Old Town Hall for members of the public who want to attend in person and watch the livestream from that venue.
