With key public health and health care indicators continuing to improve and the province-wide vaccination rate surpassing the targets outlined in the province's Roadmap to Reopen, the Town of Newmarket will be moving into Step 3 of the roadmap as of Monday, July 19th, 2021. Extended Town amenities and offerings will be opening in accordance to the health and safety guidelines and attendee numbers / capacity limits as outlined in Step 3.

The NewRoads Performing Arts Centre and the Old Town Hall venues remain scheduled to reopen in September 2021, as per the Town of Newmarket's Reopening Plan.

Public Art Jury Selection
As the Town of Newmarket moves forward with their public art program; the Recreation and Culture department is looking for artists whom would be interested in participating occasionally on an art selection jury. Interested artists are invited to submit an expression of interest through an application process.
