Naming rights

Naming Rights are a contracted agreement where a sponsor purchases the right to name a Town facility—or an asset / amenity within a facility (rink, gym, lounge etc.)—for a defined term. Agreements address rights fees, signage, sponsorship benefits, renewal options, and do not affect day-to-day operations.

Why the Newmarket pursues naming rights

Newmarket pursues Naming Rights to generate non-tax revenue that helps offset operating costs, fund facility improvements, and support programs and events—while creating tailored, high-value marketing platforms for partners and enhancing resident experiences

Benefits & Value Proposition for Sponsors

Your brand benefits from:

  • Prominent facility branding and integrated signage packages
  • Digital visibility across Town websites, event listings, and social channels
  • On-site activation options (activation zones, sampling, contests, prizing, use of the facility upon agreed to times outlined in contract)
  • Presenting sponsor opportunities for key venue events, customized to your objectives
  • Community impact through support of recreation, arts & culture, and award-winning events
