A resident of Newmarket for over 45 years, Victor Woodhouse and his wife Becky raised their five children in the community.
A small business owner in the insurance industry, Victor has operated his office in Newmarket for more than 40 years, building strong relationships with residents and local businesses.
During his four terms on Council, Victor has served on numerous committees and has worked collaboratively with fellow members of Council and community partners. He worked alongside former Mayor Tom Taylor for seven years to help establish Inn From the Cold, supporting vulnerable residents in the community.
As Councillor, Victor’s priorities include mitigating the impact of infill development, advancing improvements to local parks and green spaces, and addressing resident concerns related to speeding, parking, garbage collection and property standards.
He is proud to serve on a professional Council focused on delivering results for the community.
Victor Woodhouse was elected as Ward 2 Councillor for the 2022 - 2026 term.
