Welcome to the Lions Park Hockey Rink. Whether you’re here to practice, play a
game, or enjoy the hockey rink with family and friends, these rules are in place to
ensure a fun, safe, and respectful environment for everyone. We welcome players of
all skill levels. Work together to support each other by adjusting your pace and play
style to ensure everyone can enjoy the game at their own level of comfort.
User Guidelines
1. CSA approved helmets and equipment are strongly recommended.
2. It is expected that a parent/guardian remains on the premises to ensure
appropriate supervision of those 9 years of age and younger.
3. Spectators must remain behind the net and fenced area at all times. Be alert
and watch for flying pucks.
4. Not permitted:
• Slap shots.
• Food or drink.
• Bodychecking. Players who engage in rough or dangerous play will
be asked to leave.
• Alcohol, vaping, tobacco, or cannabis.
• Shoes or boots on the ice surface.
5. Shinny schedule is based on age. Players must participate in the
appropriate category.
6. All skaters must leave the ice immediately while the Zamboni is resurfacing.
Do not enter the ice surface until Zamboni is completed and the door is closed.
7. All times are weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice.
We are committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful environment
for our clients and our staff. Please note for everyone’s safety, we cannot tolerate
inappropriate or aggressive behaviour, harassment, or coarse language. Patrons who
engage in this type of behaviour will be asked to leave.
