A new website was identified as one of Council’s Priorities (2022-2026) under the ‘Customer First Way of Life’ subcategory and through the Town’s Digital Transformation Strategy. This website was developed following extensive user testing and research over the past few years and takes advantage of new technologies and approaches to website design. The finished product, which incorporates the Town’s caring and bold new community brand, provides visitors with an improved user experience, access to timely information and better online services. The last website redesign was in 2012.
The new website was developed with UpanUp, a fully Canadian, independently owned and operated company with a specialization in municipal websites, UX design and strategy, and expertise in accessibility compliance.
Once users have had time to navigate and become familiar with the website, a short survey will be shared following the website launch. Feedback will help the Town continue to improve the user experience and better meet community needs.
