You're invited! To a Public Open House about the Stormwater Management Comprehensive Plan on May 26 from 7-8 p.m. at the Municipal Offices inside the Council Chambers.
Meeting details
Stormwater is the rain and melted snow that runs off streets and properties, and enters creeks and streams. The Plan will review and recommend enhancements to the management of stormwater in Newmarket.
The Open House will take place on:
- May 26, 2026 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) inside the Council Chambers. Drop in anytime.
Newmarket Town staff and their consultants will have information available about the project and how you can take part and provide your feedback.
At this public open house you will learn about:
- An introduction to stormwater management
- Why a Master Plan is needed
- Project goals and objectives
- Project process and timeline
- What stormwater solutions will be considered, and how we choose the best solutions.
Project team members are seeking your input on the project, including where you have noticed issues with stormwater. They will be available to answer questions about the project and receive feedback.

In addition, an online survey will also be available on the project webpage to accept feedback from May 26 – June 26.
