National AccessAbility Awareness Week (NAAW) is a time to recognize the importance of accessibility, celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities, and promote a more inclusive community for everyone.
Join us from May 25 to June 6 for a wide range of free, inclusive activities designed to encourage participation, understanding, and connection. Events include therapies, sports, social programs, and hands‑on experiences that highlight accessibility in action.
2026 NAAW activities include:
- Sunshine Dog Therapy
- Crumbs of Kindness cookie decorating
- Goalball
- Inclusion Skate
- Sensory Swim
- Open Social Dance & Accessible Film Screenings
- Cruisin’ for Inclusion
- Seated and adaptive sports, including wheelchair basketball and seated volleyball
- BASE Adult Day Program sessions
