Starting Wednesday, May 27, Newmarket's Crack Sealing program will take place on various streets in Town. The primary goal of crack sealing work is to prevent moisture from reaching the base of roadways and to help protect the structural integrity of the roads.
Sealing helps extend the lifespan of the road and avoids the need for more expensive maintenance in the future.
Streets highlighted in black will be addressed this year, starting with Area 1, then moving to Area 2, and finishing with Area 3.
This work is expected last 2-3 weeks, weather permitting.
