Construction Notice
The Town of Newmarket and its contractor will be installing curb stops in the P3 parking lot at Riverwalk Commons on Monday, August 24. To accommodate this work safely, individual parking spaces will be temporarily closed and reopened throughout the day as installation progresses.
The work has been scheduled on a Monday to help minimize disruptions, and no significant impacts to overall parking availability are anticipated.
What to expect
- Crews will arrive at approximately 6 a.m. and temporarily close parking spaces in designated work areas. Work is expected to be completed by noon (weather permitting).
- Installation will begin at the south end of the parking lot and move north (see map below for information).
- Parking spaces will be reopened immediately after curb stops are installed.
- Installation in the north portion of the lot will continue during the afternoon.
- More than 200 parking spaces will remain available at the start of the work, with additional spaces reopening throughout the day.
