Located at the north-west corner of Mulock Drive and Yonge Street in the heart of Newmarket, Mulock Park is easy to access whether you're arriving by car, bicycle, public transit or on foot.

Conveniently situated along two major roads, the park is just minutes (10-20) from Highway 404 and Highway 400 and features ample parking in the area. Visitors can also take advantage of nearby York Region Transit routes, with a Viva stop at the park’s main entrance, and multi-use paths that connect surrounding neighbourhoods to the park. 

No matter how you choose to get here, Mulock Park is a welcoming destination designed to bring the community together.

The Town is committed to limiting parking on-site at Mulock Park to keep the property natural, but also recognizes the park will draw people from out of, or across Town for activities and events. You can find parking at the following locations:

• Yonge Street Parking Lot: A large lot with 200 parking spaces (including seven barrier-free spaces), located at 16830 Yonge Street. The lot is accessible from Yonge Street with a path to enter the north end of the park. Drivers can only access from the Southbound lane on Yonge Street, coming from Clearmeadow Blvd/William Roe Blvd, north of Mulock Drive. 
• Mulock Drive Parking Lot: A small lot on Mulock Drive accommodates 38 parking spaces (including three barrier-free spaces). Additionally, two barrier-free parking spaces are available at Mulock House, as well as a laneway to provide pick-up and drop-off options to accommodate accessibility at a central point in the park.
• Parking is also available nearby at the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex (100 Eagle Street West), which is a 10-minute walk from Mulock Park. 

Mulock Park welcomes guests of all abilities and is an inclusive destination for everyone. The park features wide, paved trails, high visibility wayfinding, accessible ramps and universal washrooms. The historic Mulock House has been renewed for full access, including an elevator. 

The park includes:

• Barrier-free parking spaces available at both the Yonge Street and Mulock Drive parking lots. See Parking for more information. 
• Drop-off access to Mulock House accessible from the Mulock Drive entrance. 
• Universal washrooms available to the public throughout the park. This includes a universal washroom at the Cedar Circle pavilion, a universal washroom with a lift at the Mulock House, and one for program participants at the Glass Hall.

The Chickadee Café is situated on the main floor of the Mulock House, with seating inside and on the veranda, overlooking the Great Lawn.

The Town of Newmarket partnered with A Million Mouthfuls Catering, a local company rooted in the community, to independently operate the café.

Help keep the park, trails and amenities safe and enjoyable for everyone.

• Pets are welcome at the park and along the trails. Please ensure you clean up after pets and always have them on a short leash. To help keep the water features clean, please do not let pets play in, or drink the water.
• Pets are not permitted inside Mulock House, nor on the veranda. Service animals who are trained to perform essential tasks for their companions are always welcome. A service animal may be identified by a vest, harness, or other visual indicator and visitors with a service animal may be asked to provide documentation. Service animals are not pets - they are working animals. This rule is in place due to public health requirements for food service, and to preserve the art in the gallery.
• Pets are allowed on the Mulock House patio, below the veranda. This is a pet friendly space with tables and seating.
• Use garbage and recycling bins.
• Share the trails.
• No smoking and no vaping.
• No motorized vehicles.
• The park is for everyone’s enjoyment and not supervised. Parents/guardians are asked to supervise children, particularly around water features. Please follow the posted rules at the Woodland Loop Skate Trail, skating rink and water play area to ensure they are enjoyed by all. 
• For safety and security purposes, some areas are under video surveillance. Activity is recorded but not monitored.
