As a new term of Newmarket Council begins, we are inviting residents to share their thoughts through a community survey that will help inform key strategic priorities and decisions for the next four years. Newmarket residents can expect to receive a Community Survey postcard in the mail over the next two weeks inviting them to share their thoughts, and how to receive a unique online link to complete the 2026 Community Survey. The Community Survey will focus on gathering feedback on Town services, programs, and community priorities.
Feedback from the community survey will be used to inform the new term of Council, future-decision making process and ensure the Town can continue to meet the needs of the community. All participants will be entered in a draw to win a $200 Upper Canada Mall gift card. The Community Survey is being conducted by independent research firm Advanis.
“Newmarket residents know our community best. We are always open to listening to resident voices, while looking for new opportunities to make Newmarket even better,” says Mayor John Taylor. “Your voice matters. Please take this opportunity to complete the 2026 Community Survey and help shape the future of this great Town.”
