We wish to keep you informed of updates regarding Town facilities, programs and events as information becomes available. The Town will continue to take our direction from Federal and Provincial Governments and York Region Public Health in an effort to protect the health and safety of our staff and community.

Summer 2020 Camps and Summer Programs:

The Town is currently exploring various options for summer programming and awaiting direction from the province regarding daycares and schools, anticipated next week. For now, the Town has paused Summer Camp registration and cancelled the Summer Program registration launch scheduled for Wednesday, May 20.

The Town will provide an update by the end of May. In the meantime, residents are encouraged to sign up for the Recreation E-Newsletterfor updates.

PLEASE NOTE: Child Care and Early Years Act: Due to the change in the Child Care and Early Years Act, all campers must turn four years old before they are permitted to attend any Town of Newmarket summer camp. For further information please go to
