EVENT UPDATE (Sunday, August 23: 11:45 a.m.): Due to inclement weather, unfortunately we are cancelling the rest of Summerfest On Main today.

 Thank you to everyone who came out for an amazing few days. From the performances and activities to the community spirit shared throughout the event, it's been a fantastic celebration and we look forward to hosting again next year!

From August 20 to 23, the street will be buzzing with music, food, fun, and unforgettable moments. Whether you're a local or coming from out of town, Summerfest on Main is the place to be!

Road Closure Information

The following road closures will be in effect from Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. until Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. for set up, Summerfest on Main, and tear down:

  • Main Street (between Water Street and Park Avenue)
  • Timothy Street (between Cedar Street and Old Town Hall)
  • Botsford Street (between Main Street and Market Square)
  • Cedar Street (on Thursday, August 20 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the Newmarket Music Series presented by TD Bank Group, and Saturday, August 22 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the Newmarket Farmers Market)
