Commencing the week of Monday, January 31, the Town of Newmarket Recreation and Culture Department will begin to offer Winter Drop-In Programs, February Registered Programs and safely reopen facilities in accordance with facility capacities as outlined in the Provincial Government announcement on January 20, 2022. Friendly reminder that a proof of Facility Screening Check In is required before entering any Town facility or participating in an activity. Access the Town's Public Self-Screening Tool and be prepared at the door to show proof of double vaccination and a piece of ID.

Public Art Jury Selection
As the Town of Newmarket moves forward with their public art program; the Recreation and Culture department is looking for artists whom would be interested in participating occasionally on an art selection jury. Interested artists are invited to submit an expression of interest through an application process.
