Consultation appointments for fall planting are now available. Through this service, you could receive expert advice from LEAF’s certified arborists who will assess your yard in-person, recommend planting locations and suggest native trees and shrubs that are best suited to your unique sun, soil, and spacing condition.
Help the Town of Newmarket become more sustainable and climate resilient by planting with LEAF. Not only does planting trees make the environment more beautiful, environmentally friendly and energy efficient, plants help remove air pollutants, enhance biodiversity, reduce home energy costs and improve physical and mental well-being of residents.
LEAF also offers the opportunity to plant shrubs in order to provide habitats for wildlife and pollinators. Residents will be able to choose from over 30 individual shrub species in a themed bundle to get four shrubs for the price of three. All shrubs come with mulch and shrub care resources.
