York Region has issued a Cold Weather Alert for January 12 to 19.
During extreme cold weather, the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex and the Magna Centre will be open as a temporary warming centre during its regular hours of operation.
Ray Twinney Recreation Complex (100 Eagle Street West): Monday to Sunday from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Magna Centre (800 Mulock Drive): 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Tips on Staying Warm
- Limit your exposure to extreme cold weather
