Calling all dog lovers! New'bark'et presented by Global Pet Foods is back for another tail-wagging weekend filled of incredible dogs, exciting entertainment, unique vendors and activities for the whole family. Whether you're a proud pup parent or simply love dogs, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
This year’s event will feature:
- Approximately 70 dog-related vendors - offering everything from must have pet products to unique finds.
- Grab a bite and enjoy delicious offerings from our food and beverage vendors (available for purchase).
- See how agile your dog is and have them participate in our DogLoversDays Lure Course.
- Cheer on incredible canine athletes as Aqua Dogs shows off their amazing, talented dogs during their competitive dog dock jumping series.
- Watch and be amazed at the incredible athleticism and fast paced skills of the SuperDogs.
- Let your dog run free in our fenced, off leash dog area.
- Test your skills in the Pawlympics presented by Unified K9 Behaviour Centre in the K9 Games for a chance to earn a Bronze, Silver or Gold medal, take on the Ultimate Woof Warrior Obstacle Course for a certificate and ribbon, and stop by Ask the Expert to get tips and advice from certified professional trainers and behaviour experts!
- Enjoy face painting, caricature artists and more – fun for the whole family!
New'bark'et Rules:
- Dogs should remain leashed at all times except when inside the fenced off-leash area. Retractable leashes are not acceptable.
- Dogs must be accompanied by a person of at least 16 years of age or older in the off-leash area.
- Handlers are responsible for their dogs at all times including stooping and scooping.
- If a dog begins acting aggressively (individuals and other dogs), you will be asked to leave the event.
- Maximum of 3 dogs per handler.
- All dog owners are subject to the Dog Owner's Liability Act and the Town of Newmarket's Bylaws.
