The Ray Twinney Recreation Complex is a popular recreation facility that features two arenas, a large indoor pool, all with spectator seating, and change room facilities. The complex is also home of the Newmarket Stingrays, a top rated competitive swim club. Several lounges and rooms are available for rental for banquets, parties and meetings, and throughout the year a number of seasonal and high profile special events take place at the complex.

The Ray Twinney Recreation Complex is surrounded by a football field, a number of soccer pitches and baseball diamonds. Summer weekends are filled with both competitive and friendly tournaments.
